Founder & CEO
Dr. Jacob McFarland
Jake earned an associate degree in biology at Garden City Community College from 2010-12. He was a starting/relief pitcher for the Broncbusters baseball team. He transferred to Centenary College of Louisiana where he became an all-conference starting pitcher for the Gents. He received a bachelor's degree in biology from 2013-15. He played one year of independent professional baseball before officially retiring in 2015. He graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Saint Mary in 2019. Following graduation, he relocated to Seattle, Washington to work as a physical therapist at Driveline Baseball. While at Driveline, he was able to assess and treat baseball players from youth, high school, college, and professional ranks. His role was to collaborate with other departments including research and development, biomechanics, strength and conditioning, and coaches, assisting them in designing specific player development plans. His interests in physical therapy include player development, research, manual therapy, pain neuroscience, dry needling, blood flow restriction training, biomechanics, and interventions specific to returning to functional activities. Outside of physical therapy, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, church, travel, the outdoors, and sports

Paige McFarland
Paige is a University of Missouri graduate with a degree in Nutrition
and Exercise Physiology. She has enjoyed being able to share her
knowledge and experience with softball players in the kc metro area.

Director of Hitting/Social Media
Jake Owens
Jake will achieve a degree in Exercise Science from the University of Kansas in December of 2022. His playing experience includes playing college baseball at Johnson County CC, Wichita State University,
and The University of Tampa. During his career, he accumulated over three years of
training time with Driveline Baseball (both in gym and remote). He also spent a summer
in Eric Cressey’s collegiate developmental league in 2019. Now entering his coaching
career, Jake has worked with countless high school and collegiate athletes in the
Kansas City area. Jake is also the hitting and defensive coach for the Adapt Prospects which plays out of the Ban Johnson Collegiate Summer league.

Director of Pitching
Hector Garcia
Hector started his career in baseball with the Chicago Cubs Academia in the Dominican
Republic from 1996-1998. From there, Hector played for Hialeah High School in
Hialeah, Fl in 2000, Florida Memorial University in North Miami, FL in 2002, and
Lambuth University in Jacksonville, TN in 2003-2006. He was lead pitching instructor at
Yard Baseball Club which he was in charge in developing the top arms out of that
academy. All those players has already been playing at the college level and all of them
made their commitment to play college. Coach Garcia has coached several Kansas City
youth teams starting in 2012. His passion to help others has not limited him to the youth
level, but also instructs at the college level. Hector works to inspire the next generation
of men, to teach them the fundamentals of life through baseball.
